Over the years the word giggles has become synonymous with the word gifts. Established in December 1975, Giggles was the original gift line shop in India. Since then, Giggles has grown from a simple gift shop to a store with in-house facilities for designing, quality control, sampling and production of a vast range of items.

Giggles became a Pvt. Ltd. Co in 1982 and the main branch is in Delhi. They also have a branch at Calcutta, which was started in 1984.

The price range of the products is from Rs 5 to any amount of Rs 1000's. The cards start anywhere at Rs 3 and a Mont Blanc pen is somewhere around Rs 25,000-50,000. The same type of stuff is available both in Calcutta and Delhi. You name it and Giggles will make it for you. This facility comes complete with excellent service, quality control, prompt delivery and competitive rates.

According to Gauravjit Singh Kochhar, Director of Giggles, "My father Mr. Sarabjeet Singh Kochhar started this. At that time it was the only shop for gifts. We have a niche market and our own set of clients, basically it’s our service aspect you can count on. If you walk in our store and you don't like a product you can feel free and return it back. We have tried and encompassed everything possible. If you are coming here to buy a gift, you should get everything under one roof. We have exclusive gift-wrapping. We also do corporate gifting, that’s our second line of business. We have a regular retail chain with distributors; they supply everything to us. I would distinguish myself from Archies, as Archies only keeps Archies cards; we keep cards from the best of the lot. These include Hallmark, Anne Geddes, Archies, and ITC as it gives the customer a wide choice."

The gifts are made by Giggles or sometimes sourced from outside. You can even get your business cards, invitation, pads, stickers etc printed here. You can personalise products like pencils, T-shirt, caps, mugs, greeting cards with personalized printed names, message and photo. They even do etching, engraving, embroidery, hot stamping etc on certain products. Giggles also designs special packing and printing for your gifts. Ear piercing is also done on request. All these are value additions with regular retailing.

The gift items can be chosen from sophisticated leather items, glass with class, ceramics, wood, acrylic, plastic, T-shirts and caps to bags, brass, silver and gold. Right now the main focus is corporate gifts, as they have large number of corporate clients.
