Summer is here and so are the power cuts. Most of us would have installed a generator. But it is very important to take good care of the generator.

1. When not in use always keep it covered as the dust might spoil it.

2. Never use a generator inside the house as the smoke can choke you.

3. Always make sure that the generator is switched on in some open area as both smoke and noise are kept out.

4. Don't light fire or smoke where the generator is kept.

5. Don't wash the generators with water.

6. Keep it away from children.
