It went on air on October 4, 2001 at Indore. Since
then, it ventured successfully in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad
. And now to capture the ears of the Capital's crowd,
it has stumped itself in Delhi. Radio Mirchi, the Times
Group Foray into commercial FM radio was launched in
New Delhi on April 28. What's unique about this radio
station is that, it will be the first to broadcast live,
24 hours a day. And also, Radio Mirchi is a station
for the people of Delhi, addressing their concerns,
playing their music and speaking their language. It
would be as close to the needs and aspirations of local
listeners.
