Funkie Orbit


Funkie Orbit offers a complete developmental environment for children. A modular interactive play system, it was launched by Panoramic Entertainment Pvt Ltd. at the Ansal Plaza shopping mall in New Delhi. It is India's first "Indoor Amusement Play station", and can accommodate 200 children at one time. A larger than life, multi-tiered play station, Funkie Orbit offers a variety of play options for every child from 2 to 14 years.

The play station has a ball pool for toddlers to bounce away in, vision adventure panels and sight and sound panels that stretch the senses, space age satellite communicators, radar receptors and aviators that help little guests to get lost into space. The ultimate is a 28- feet long curly slide, which lands a child back to where he started.

Emphasis has been laid on safety. All contact points are covered with foam and the floor is impact-tested for a fall height of 1 metre. The equipment at the play station meets and exceeds the specifications of the safety agencies and regulators which are
ASTM - American Standards of Test Materials, CPSC - Consumer Products Safety Commission, IAAPA- International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

In addition magic eye cameras at different levels allow for active real time supervision. There is an interactive play station with trained instructors and facility for leaving the child under supervision. Trained rangers are posted on each level, to provide assistance and companionship to the children. In addition to interactive games there is also a cyber café for children above 8 years, providing an opportunity for children and parents to surf the net and play games. There is also a merchandise store that sells a range of children's products which are trendy T-shirts, caps accessories, specially designed stationery, games, toys and interactive learning products, souvenirs and mementos.

Funkie Orbit also houses a restaurant offering a host of child oriented snacks and an ice- cream parlour with lots of flavours to choose from. Children's favourite foods like ice creams, sundaes, cool slush, pizzas, popcorn, sandwiches, cakes and curly fries are available. There is a special theme room for birthday bashes. Just give them the date, choose your own menu and go wild with your friends on the fantastic play equipment, while the parents are hassle free.

The Funkie Club Card costs Rs 250 and is valid up to 12 months from the date of membership; this card gives 50% off on entry ticket. Funkie Orbit also has a package for schools who can look at Funkie Orbit as an excursion option.
