This special Badaam milk is famous all over south Delhi and people come from every corner of the place. The milk is prepared early in the morning. The fresh milk is heated on a high gas till it becomes thick and the the various ingredients are added to it. Then it is poured into disposal glasses and stored in a cooling box.

All through the day there is a heavy demand for the milk. Vijay, an officegoer, stops here daily here to have his favorite milk. He says, " I love the thunda milk. I have two glasses daily and sometimes I carry it home. My son just loves it."

The place is always crowded and invariably everybody visiting the market has the thunda Badaam milk. People just stand in groups at the counter and enjoy the milk. Most of the times the milk gets over by afternoon and then fresh milk has to be prepared. Most of the people are not satisfied by a glass. The consumption per head is at least two glasses.

Latika, a housewife, heaves a sigh of relief after sipping the milk. "The thunda milk is so refreshing in the heat. I love the Badaam milk here and it is much better to have the milk than a can of coke. It is healthy , refreshing an filling."




Evening is a different scene at Radhe Shyam's shop. People drive down here from various places just to have Badaam milk. But the taste is so good that one cannot escape the temptation. Asha, who has walked down from Green Park along with her friend to have Badaam milk says, "Actually I hate drinking milk. But the Badaam milk they serve here is great."

The Badaam milk takes the credit of cultivating the taste of milk in so many people. So if you feel like having a drink have the nutritious Badaam milk with real Badaams.
