The Buck Stops Here

- the new fusion restaurant

All you foodies out there, The Buck Stops Here. That's right, it's time to rejoice. There's a new place in town that's hot and happening.

You will warm up to this place the minute you see it. Done up in wood and adorned with objets d'art on the walls, The Buck Stops Here is brightly lit with huge candles and has some funky crockery and cutlery to match - huge forks and spoons with florescent handles! This is a great place if you're thinking of a nice romantic dinner. Even if you are not, it still is a great place to go.

For all you diehard butter chicken fans, beware, the cuisine is fusion. For the non-vegetarian, there are pan-fried prawns in peppercorn and cold chicken with honey chilly sauce on a bed of carrots and zucchini, that are worth trying for starters. The veggies must try the flaming mushroom dish lightly fried and tossed in tomatoes and barbeque sauce.

For the main course, prawns cooked in a coconut and coriander sauce or cottage cheese steaks with roasted onions, celery and chilly sauce accompanied by a hot bean salad or a boneless leg of lamb cooked in rum and Indian spices served with hummus and khus khus are highly recommended.

Follow this up with a sensuous dessert of.spiced pears in berry sauce or blueberry pie or dark mousse in grand marnier and you have an unforgettable experience.

There's one suggestion though, weekends are rushed, so you might want to try this place out on a weekday.

Meal for two: Rs800/-
