According to the Director of the store Vandana Mittal, "We started this venture in 1999. The products are imported from all over Europe. As a matter of fact, all the products are handpicked and we try not to get bulk quantity of one item. Our USP is exclusivity at a reasonable price. Some of the pieces are one of their kind and maybe we have just 1-3 pieces of that kind. The basic products are crockery and glassware and the price range is Rs 550 onwards to Rs 1 lakh. The clients come from far off places like Mumbai, Calcutta, Hyderabad and many other places. We have just one retail outlet in Delhi."

The sisters - Jyoti, Sapna and Bhavna who are twins and youngest Vandana, jointly run this company. The villa houses a wide-variety of artifacts - porcelain, resin, brass and murano glass, crockery, white Italian marble statues and grandfather and table clocks. The 24K gold plated bed, the gold polished mirrors, the luxuriant walnut wood bars, the rare and exotically beautiful paintings on the walls, and gold lined furniture transports one into a world of treasures. These products are imported from Italy, France, Belgium and Japan and priced at par with, or less then retail market price of these items in the country of their origin.

La Brallentine provides services of an expert interior designer, who assists you to select your furniture from the entire display of the 12 fully, furnished bedrooms and 2 dining areas. After going through the exhaustive range of bedrooms one can also go through the crockery and showpieces that represent the inventive art and passion of the artisans from Japan and Italy.

La Brallentine has highly experienced technicians for any after sales support that could be required for the furniture. Vandana Mittal sums up by saying, "Our pieces work out much cheaper as compared to what the buyer would have to shell out if he were to buy them from abroad. Also it's difficult to carry such heavy stuff from aboard when you have limitations of weight, then brokerage and customs etc. Sometimes people who come from abroad come here to buy gifts from us. This is an easier access to them. As for the future we are diversifying our skills and range, trying to get as many new products as possible. We are trying to judge from the response which has been good what people prefer and then we will go accordingly."
