A
woman is the most fascinating creation of nature. Beautiful,
caring, patient, with tremendous inner strength, it
is therefore, no coincidence that nature chose her to
be the backbone of every family. It is in recognition
of her extra efforts and spirit that the concept of
'THE EMPRESS CLUB' came into being. In the hustle
and bustle of life, she needs a space of her own. A
platform where she can meet like- minded people and
together form a network where women can exchange ideas,
skills, explore new fields of interest or simply have
fun.
The club was established in July 1999 and was the
fulfillment of a dream to create a club to make a
woman's life more purposeful, entertaining and efficient.
From cooking tips, to decorating the home, from setting
up a business to smart career moves, from showcasing
hidden talents to exploring potentials, from holding
special events to providing opportunities to interact
with celebrities. The aim of the Empress Club is to
educate, motivate and help a woman create a better
world around her.
The Concept
The Empress Club; of women, for
women and by women is a pioneer concept in the country.
The club aims to build a network of women where they
can get together not only to help each other but also
to contribute their best to the society. Here they
can achieve all their ambitions and aspirations and
live their lives the way they have always dreamt to.
The club's objective is to provide impetus required
for women to rediscover themselves and to redefine
their space.
At
the Empress club the belief is that a woman can contribute
positively to the development of her to make the best
use of resources around her. After a year of functioning,
the club today boasts of a thousand members and is
very soon going to expand its base to other metropolitan
cities as well.
In keeping with its tradition of providing the best
services to its members, the club continues to organize
consequential events and workshops, aimed at providing
maximum benefit to the members in general and to the
society as a whole. Many of the club's activities
are in association with Non- Governmental organizations
like CRY, Helpage, National Association for the
Blind, etc. to lend a helping hand to the underprivileged
and give them an opportunity to be a part of the mainstream
society.
The Empress Club has received an overwhelming response
in Delhi; this has encouraged them to expand their
base nationally. Keeping in mind the mission of the
club and in an attempt to reach out to women in other
parts of the country, the Club is spreading its wings
through its various branches in different parts of
India, quality controlled from the head office in
Delhi.
