Seed

SeedSeed is an eco-friendly store for your mind, body and home. Started in 1998, it's the brainchild of Ms. Priya Paul of Park Hotels. Her belief in natural products encouraged her to start this venture.

Seed invites you to explore 200 new ways to save the earth and live a healthier and fulfilled life. The store sells health foods like baked snacks and namkeens. The snacks are all roasted and baked instead of the usual frying and the food is organic. Seed offers brown rice and organic tea but what they really specialize in is healthy organic wheat sticks- sesame sticks, khakra etc. The products sold at Seed are all eco-friendly and no chemicals or preservatives are used while preparing them.

Handmade products at SeedSeed has a handicrafts section as well. The Manager of the store says, "We have tried our best to encourage the handicrafts sector. The artisans come directly to us or through Non Governmental Organizations. No middlemen are involved. Our shop is very well known so they come directly here. As they know that people appreciate their products, we support them by buying their products."

The response to the venture has been tremendous. According to the Manager, "There is no specific type of clientele which comes here, people of all age groups like coming here. But a lot of youngsters come here. They know a lot and they are aware of the benefits of organic food and herbal cosmetics."
