Started in 1979, A & S Industries manufactures
garments & exclusive home textile products. They
have expanded their business by going into exports
of garments and a complete range of home textiles.
They are presently selling their products to major
departmental stores in the U.S.A & Western Europe
and having an annual export turnover in excess of
U.S. $10 million.
They have a well-equipped design & development unit
with 500 people being employed. They specialise in
women's wear, men's shirts and children's wear. Their
range includes sports wear and casual wear. They also
have a very large collection of garments in prints
and both hand and machine embroidery.
They follow international trends and their fabric
range is very extensive which includes cotton,
viscose, polyesters, wool and several varieties
of blended fabric. The materials are mostly
sourced in India but being a Government Recognized
Export House they import from China, Korea, Japan
and Taiwan.
